Following the derby loss against Galatasaray, our Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments regarding the game:

‘‘We could not get organized throughout the game. There wre changes of the tide for control. When we brought the score to 1-1 at the half, we thought of wining the game with our high tempo. But somehow things didn’t work out as we planned. Having no fan support in this crucial derby, really affected our performance since we are not used to playing under such conditions. Now, we have a critical Champions League game coming up against Porto in three day. We have no other choice but forget about this derby loss and concentrate on our game against Porto.’’
