As a part of its preseason training camp, Beşiktaş Cola Turca played in a 4 team tournament organized in Bologna, Italy and suffered a 90-83 close loss  to mighty CSKA Moscow in its first game. 

Continuing its preseason training in Italy for some time, our Black & Whites took on last season’s Euroleague Finalist, CSKA in a hard fought game. CSKA Moscow led 26-25 at the end of a well contested first period and managed to grab a one point lead at the half (41-40). 
After an evenly matched first half, the Russian side eventually displayed its experience and held a 68-63 advantage going into the final quarter. In the fourth quarter, Beşiktaş tried to stage a long awaited come back, but unable to close the gap, could not avoid suffering a 90-83 setback at the end.   
Our top scorer in the game was Preston with 22 points. He was followed by Apodoca (20), Niceviç (14), Cevher Özer (9), Dalmau (8), Mahmet Yağmur ( 7) and Sinan Güler (3).
