Following Beşiktaş’s 3-2 come-back victory over visiting Denizlispor, Our Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made these assessments regarding the game:

"Thanks to a couple of individual mistakes, we were down by 2 goals as early as the first 10 minutes. This naturally affected our short time game plan but our players were able to reorganize quickly. Then we controlled the game and applied pressure on opponent’s goal. Bobo’s goal near the end of first half not only equalized the score but also boosted our morale for the second half. If Nobre had taken advantage of his scoring chance at the start of the second half, we would have broken the game open much earlier. Nonetheless, my players did not give up and found our 3rd goal.
Coming back from being 2-0 down is a positive note on our performance tonight. We also ended our scoring draught with 3 goals, which had following us since the beginning of the season. However, the opponent's two quick goals coming from our own uncalled defensive mistakes, are really disturbing and we have to implement the necessary measures for avoiding them in our future games. On the other hand, erasing a 2-0 early deficit after a real tiresome midweek Championship League game,  is definitely  something  to cheer about.''
