Despite falling 2-0 behind early in the game, our Football Team managed to come back and defeat visiting Denizlispor 3-2 thanks to goals from Tello (2) and Bobo.

The game was played at BJK İnönü Stadium and refereed by Yunus Yıldırım. Our Team Captain İbrahim Üzülmez and Denizlispor’s Captain Yusuf together read out an announcement before the game with microphone stating that the both would display good sportsmanship on the field.
In spite of starting off the game with well organized wing attacks, Beşiktaş fell 1-0 behind unexpectedly with a 5th minute goal by Fatih Egedik who cleverly netted the ball coming from a corner-kick. Exactly 5 minutes later, the same player was able to defeat our keeper Hakan Arıkan from close range once again and help Denizlispor to a 2-0 lead.  
However, these back to back early goals did not disrupt Black & Whites’ overall game plan, as they pulled one back with Tello’s 17th minute brilliant drive (1-2). This goal boosted Beşiktaş’s moral and allowed them to put additional pressure on opposing side's goal in search of a quick equalizer. The collective efforts of Black & Whites finally paid off in the 34th minute. Following a well timed give-N-go with Nobre that caught the opposing defense off-guard, our striker Brazilian Bobo dribbled past Denizli keeper Souleymanou and sent the ball in to tie the game at 2-2. Five minutes from half time, Serdar Kurtuluş replaced İbrahim Kaş but the first half ended with neither side gaining the upper hand.
In the second half, Beşiktaş carried the game completely into visitors half of the field and displayed an effective performance initiated mainly from the wings. After 15 minutes siege of Denizlispor’s goal, Black & Whites scored their long awaited third goal. Tello’s 60th minute free kick deceived visitor’s  keeper Souleymanou, who was trying to disposition Serdar Kurtuluş in front of him, and went directly into Denizlispor net, giving Beşiktaş a much needed 3-2 lead for the first time in the game. Higuain (70 min.) and Koray Avcı (80 min.) entered the game for Mehmet Yozgatlı and Bobo. Visiting Denizlispor made a last attempt to level the score but its close range effort came off the cross-bar.  Our player, Cisse received an unnecessary red card from referee Yunus Yıldırım in injury time and Beşiktaş had to play one man short. Since both teams were unable to change the score during the remaining minutes, Black & Whites walked out of the field with a 3-2 hard earned victory.
