Beşiktaş Cola Turka:90 Teramo:82

As a part of its preseason training, Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team outscored Teramo 90-82 in the second game of the Banca Tercas Cup.

Following their tournament opener loss to Kaunas, Black & Whites took on S. Teramo whom they previously defeated in the Final of Sabetta Cup.  
During the early minutes of the game both sides exchanged baskets but Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team looked more impressive as, thanks to Erkan’s 7 critical points, led 20-17 at the end of the first period.
In the second half Mehmet Yağmur who replaced Dalmau increased Black & Whites tempo and consequently, Beşiktaş took a 7 point advantage in the 15th minute (33-26). However the effective performance by Tsiktshvili of Teramo eventually reduced the gap and Beşiktaş stayed only 2 points in front at the half (41-39).    
However, at start of the third period, Preston Shumpert’s consecutive baskets handed the game’s control to Beşiktaş Cola Turka once again and built up a 53-48 lead 5 minutes left to go in the period. But Marco Carra, Brendon Brown and Gianluca Lulli all hit accurate shots near to end for Teramo that succeeded   reducing the Black & Whites’ advantage to 2 points going into fourth quarter (65-63).  
During the first 7 minutes of the final period, Beşiktaş Cola Turca found some key baskets with Cevher Özden, Christian Dalmau and Rick Apodsca and opened up an 11 point deficit (82-71). But Teramo would not surrender easily and thanks to its effective fast break points, managed to lower the point difference to 4 points with 1:30 to go (82-78). Nevertheless, Erkan Veysel turned the steals by Sinan and Dalmau into crucial points and gave Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team a 90-82 win at the final buzzard. The final game statistics showed that Black & Whites made 19 assists resulting in a total of 90 points.
In the first game of the tournament’s second day, Aris, who previously lost to Teramo, managed to overpower mighty Z. Kanuas by 5 points. With this result each team had a one win going into the final stage of tournament.
