Our visiting Football Team outscored Kasımpaşa 2-1 in the second week of the Turkcell Super League. Our goals came from İbrahim Toraman (63rd min.) and Ricardinho (85th min.).

The game played at Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadium was refereed by Hüseyin Göçek. The boisterous and non-stop support of our fans enabled Beşiktaş to come back from a one-goal first half deficit.
The early minutes of the game were mainly played in midfield. Starting from the 20th minute, Beşiktaş initiated effective attacks from both wings and applied pressure on opponent’s goal in search of an early lead. But host team’s defense successfully managed to hold off Black & Whites’ scoring attempts and Kasımpaşa even went 1-0 ahead with Jens Askou’s unexpected header in the 40th minute (1-0). At the end of the first half home side had one goal advantage.
In the second half, Beşiktaş forwards Batuhan Karadeniz (46th min.) and İbrahim Akın (53rd min.) entered into game for Burak Yılmaz and Aydın Karabulut. As a result Black & Whites increased its tempo for a quick equalizer. This new tactic paid its dividends off as Ibrahim Toraman tied the game 1-1 with a clever touch in front of Kasımpaşa net. This goal relaxed Beşiktaş and allowed it to take complete control of the game. Koray Avcı replaced Cisse the 80th minute. And 5 minutes from time, Ricardinho buried Serdar Kurtuluş’s pass into Kasımpaşa net with a brilliant drive that put Beşiktaş in front for the first time in the game (2-1). Since neither team was able to change the score during remaining minutes, Black & Whites won the game 2-1 and pocketed valuable 3 points.
