Following our 2-1 victory over Kasımpaşa, Beşiktaş’s Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments regarding the game: 

"Before the game, we told our players that it would not be an easy game. We also said we could overcome the opponent only if we staged a top level performance. It was rather a backbreaking first half on our part. We had    difficulty creating chances against a tight defense. However, we carried the game to the wings in the second half and managed to control the game in opponent’s side of the field. We created scoring chances without any kind of panic.
I think we deserved to win the game with our second half performance. We still need to improve our play.  We have to pin down these weak points correctly and  should not carry them into our next game.
We will rest our players even for a short time. It is important not to lose any points during this tight schedule. If we can improve our second half performance a little, it will be much better."
