We are entering the 2007-2008 season with our new Technical Director, Ertuğrul Sağlam and additional transfers who will surely provide extra power to our team. 
First of all we wish a very good season to our team and to all other opponents. We also hope that fairplay and sportsmanship will prevail throughout the upcoming race. 
Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
In addition to having a high-status in today’s industrialized Turkish football, Beşiktaş has successfully fulfilled its necessary obligations without giving anything away from its principles and traditions that have always made significant difference in our football world. Besides preserving its own identity, as a proud leader for nearly 104 years, Beşiktaş has taken courageous strides towards sustaining the essence of Turkish football, guaranteeing its future and constantly raising the level of sports culture in our society as a whole.        
To this end, we have appointed our ex-player Eruğrul Sağlam to the position of Beşiktaş’s Technical Director while also entrusting our goal to Turkish International goal-keepers, Rüştü Reçber and Hakan Arıkan. Furthermore, we have strengthened our line-up with top- quality foreign and local players.
While we have been making these crucial decisions, which we hope, will be beneficial to the future of both our club and Turkish Football, we strongly believe that Turkish Football community has to claim and trust our home grown players who will represent Turkey in the international matches. As a club of ‘firsts’ in our country, we are extremely proud and pleased to fulfill our pioneering commitments once more.
Under the directorship of Ertuğrul Sağlam, I have no hesitation that our new team gathered from players who fully understand the meaning and value of wearing Beşiktaş’s jersey will help us achieve our goals by displaying a true sportsmanlike combat on the pitch.
Our fans who have selected Beşiktaş as a way of life will come to the games by wearing our new jersey. And support our Black & Whites throughout 90 minutes wholeheartedly. No doubt,as its been happening since 104 years, the biggest supporter of our Management, Technical Director as well as our team will be our devoted fans once again.
