Edouard Cisse, the new transfer of Beşiktaş, has visited BJK İnönü Stadium. After collecting information on Beşiktaş’s history from the Museum, Cisse strolled on the grass of the stadium and signed autographs for fans at Kartal Yuvası store.

Following his medical checkup, Edouard Cisse went to BJK İnönü Stadium this morning with his wife and business manager Sandra and Mario Berk, Board Member in Charge of External Relations.

Firstly having visited BJK Museum, Cisse thoroughly examined our championship cups. Having received information about the museum, the French player deeply affected by the history of Beşiktaş.

Cisse received information about the background of our 100th Year championship Cup. During his visit to the museum, the flag of Paris Saint Germain left from the match played between Beşiktaş and the French football team moved him emotionally.
After completing his tour of museum, Cisse stepped on the field and fascinated by the stadium. While strolling on the grass, he received detailed information about the stadium from officials.
Having visited Kartal Yuvası store later, Cisse examined the jerseys with his name on it and signed autographs for fans and taken photographs with his fans.
Having deeply affected by this trip to Stadium which was also recorded by BJK TV, Cisse expressed his emotions: “I was very well welcomed here. Istanbul is a beautiful city. Beşiktaş was after me during the past few seasons. We were in the phase of discussion and my transfer has become a reality today. What is important for me was trust and they have proved their trust in me.’’
Noting that Beşiktaş is a well-known team in France, French player added: ‘‘I was acquainted with Beşiktaş from its matches against Paris Saint Germain and this acquaintance affected my transfer decision. Besides, I always wanted to play for a team that strives for championship’’
In respect to the quality of Beşiktaş, Edouard Cisse noted the following: ‘‘I know Beşiktaş has a lot of good players and I personally recognize most of them. Playing for a team full of quality players was another factor that brought me here. We want to make a good start into the league and have a successful season.’’
Stating that he had all the necessary information about the greatness of Beşiktaş’s fans before hand, Cisse said:

‘‘I know that Beşiktaş fans are well-appreciated in Europe. Before coming here I heard a lot about the fans but right now I want to experience this greatness. I want to feel their support and love on the field. I am looking forward to appear on the stadium before our fans.”
