Following our 2-1 victory over visiting Ankaraspor, Beşiktaş’s new Technical Director Tayfur Havutçu made these comments regarding the game:

‘‘In order to not reduce our chances of going to UEFA Champions League we had to win this game for sure. I think we played well especially in the first half. We scored a goal and created crucial chances. I am pleased that we came out as winners at the end. Now we have one more game left in our regular league schedule. We are planning to win that game as well and then take a vacation.’’
