Our Wheel Chair Basketball Team grabbed an 84-61 victory over visiting Adana Engelliler Sports Club in the 17th week of the league at BJK Süleyman Seba Sports Saloon.

Both teams exchanged baskets during early minutes of the game but Beşiktaş eventually succeeded in asserting its superiority and opened up a sizeable deficit in its favor thanks to a series of unanswered fast-break points by Mehmet Akın and Aytaç. Black Eagle’s solid defensive performance minimized visitors’ scoring chances as Black & Whites posted a 32-10 commanding lead at the end of the first period.
This impressive play of Beşiktaş continued in the second period as well and forced its opponent to rely on outside shots. Despite Adana representative’s late period scoring rally staged with consecutive baskets from the painted area , Black & Whites managed to take a huge lead going to locker room at the end of first half (54-26).
Sitting on a comfortable score advantage, Beşiktaş displayed a rather controlled performance in the second half. Under the efficient leadership of Mithat, the well- organized attacks of Black Eagle widened the point gap even further as it completed the third period 71-43 on top.
Throughout the final period visitors and hosts displayed a typical catch-up game. But the relentless effort staged by Adana Engelliler Club to reduce the deficit came too late. Besides the sound defensive show of Black & Whites would not allow visitors to get back into the game under any circumstances. Beşiktaş held on to a 74-61convincing victory at the final buzzer.
