Following our 1-1 semifinal replay tie with league leader Fenerbahçe that sent us to the Fortis Turkish Cup Final, our Technical Director Jean Tigana made these comments:  

‘‘We are all delighted that we have made the Turkish Cup Final. We strengthened our midfield with our substitutions. However we couldn’t prevent our injuries. Tomorrow we will have a clear picture of their conditions. Now we will give our preference to League games because we would like to take part in the Champions League.’’
