Despite trailing 1-0 at the end of regulation time, our Football Team went on to even the score in extra time against arch rival Fenerbahçe and succeeded in reaching  the Final of Fortis Turkish Cup. Our lone goal was scored by Mert Nobre in the 102nd minute of the game. Black& Whites will now face Kayseri Erciyesspor in the Final.

The semi-final replay was played in FB Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium and attended by Beşiktaş’s President Yıldırım Demirören and our Board Members. Our reserved section was completely filled by our loyal fans that supported their team non-stop throughout the 120 minutes. 
During the early part of the game refereed by Selçuk Dereli, Black & Whites were able to assert their supremacy in midfield that successfully prevented Fenerbahçe from creating chances. In a well organized 11th minute Beşiktaş attack, İbrahim Üzülmez came close to scoring. His shot was barely saved by Fenerbahçe keeper. Unable to apply any pressure from the wings, the host team had to rely mainly on free-kicks for its chances. During 26th minute of first half Ricordinho’s long range free kick went into the net of Fenerbahçe. But claiming that a foul was made to Fenerbahçe goal keeper Serdar by Baki Mercimek, referee Selçuk Dereli disallowed  this controversial  goal. During the remainder of the half, Black & Whites continued to stage a superior performance but were unlucky not to score a goal (0-0).
Both sides started the second half without making any substitution and Fenerbahçe took a 1-0 lead with Tümer's 56th minute goal. Our Technical Director Tigana made some key changes and replaced Burak Yılmaz and Delgado with Bobo (60th min.) and Mehmet Sedef (71st min). Beşiktaş’s attempts to level the score were fruitless as the game went into extra-time. 
While Fenerbahçe was trying to extend its advantage, our Black & Whites found its long awaited goal in the 102nd of the game. Mert Nobre buried the ball coming from Ricardinho’s corner kick with a well-timed header that equalized the score at 1-1. Immediately following the goal Ali Tandoğan substituted İbrahim Üzülmez as a defensive measure. After Bobo’s unlucky shot that didn’t go in but hit the crossbar, Lugano was sent off with a red card. Since neither side was able to change the score, the match ended in a 1-1 draw as our Black& Whites reached the Final once again
