Sakaryaspor:1 Beşiktaş:1

Visiting Beşiktaş played into a 1-1 tie with Sakaryaspor in the 28th week of the League. Our lone goal was scored by İbrahim Toraman in the 42nd minute.

The game was played in Adapazarı Atatürk Stadium and refereed by Bülent Yıldırım under perfect pitch and weather conditions. Burak Yılmaz came close to scoring in the 12th minute but his effort was well saved by goal keeper Martinez. Burak Yılmaz kept creating chances for Beşiktaş but his shots could not find the target. Evren from home team Sakaryaspor was sent off after receiving his second yellow card following an illegal tackle to Delgado. Black Eagle finally collected the fruits of its relentless attacks in the 42nd minute. Ibrahim Toraman sent Delgado’s corner kick with a well timed brilliant header which put our team 1-0 ahead at the end of the first half.
Before the start of second half tired Burak Yılmaz was replaced by Brazilian Bobo. Black & Whites eventually took control of the mid field and asserted their supremacy over the host team. After wasting two good chances with Delgado and Nobre, Fahri Tatan entered the game for Kliberson. When everybody was expecting the game to end with this score, Cangele tied the game at 5:00 from time during a rare Sakaryaspor attack (1-1) which shocked most Beşiktaş fans. Despite of finding 2 decent chances with Gökhan Zan to regain the lead during the remaining minutes, Black & Whites could not change the score to its advantage and had to settle for a 1-1 tie.
