Beşiktaş Men’s Volleyball Team was overpowered 3-2 by an improved Galatasaray side in the 15 the week of the Classifying Group.

This hard fought Istanbul derby was played in Burhan Felek Sports Saloon and lasted nearly 131 minutes. While Galatasaray took the first set 25-22, Black & Whites came back and won the second set with an unusual score of 36-34 that leveled the sets at one each. Black Eagle succeeded in jumping 2-1 in front at the end of third set (26-24) but when it lost the fourth set 25-15 to its traditional Istanbul rival the game went into tie-break set (2-2). During the last set both teams displayed everything they got in their reservoir for victory but at the end Galatasaray managed to stay on top with a 15-13 final score that enabled the host team to post a 3-2 victory over visiting Black & Whites.
