Our Technical Director Jean Tigana made this assessment following 2-0  Gençlerbirliği victory: 

Tigana: ‘‘Before I start making any comments regarding the game, I am still waiting for the evidences to be submitted by Erman Toroğlu. In terms of our overall performance, we had very effective first half and dominated the game from every angle. In the second half we displayed a controlled football. After achieving a two goal lead, we psychologically pull backed to defense. The only upsetting point of the game was our receiving too many unnecessary yellow cards. The referee was also closed to any type of dialog. So far we have won four games in a row during this difficult and competitive period. We must maintain our performance at this level. My biggest wish is to finish the season at the first place as new Turkish Champions.’’
