Visiting Beşiktaş Cola Turca Women’s Basketball Team grabbed a valuable 73-66 victory over Çankaya University in the 19th week of TBBL.

The game was played in Arı Koleji Sport Saloon and staged an exciting and well contested first period. Thanks to well earned baskets scored during the first ten minutes,   host team managed to hold on to a slim lead at the end of the first period (21-20).
However with the start of second period the pendulum turned to Beşiktaş’s way and Black& Whites were able edge their opponents by a single point at the half (43-42).
Compared to Çankaya University, Beşiktaş Cola Turca displayed a more effective performance in the second half and did not repeat the defensive mistakes of the previous periods. As a result Beşiktaş achieved a 63-53 lead going into final period and eventually won the game with a score of 73-66.
Yasemin Horasan, Tuba Palazoğlu, Esra Erden and Sariye Gökçe led the top scorers with 12 points scored each and played an important role in Black & Whites’ victory. Stacey Lovelace was another crucial figure of the game with 12 key rebounds.
