Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team brought down visiting Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi 66-49 in the 22nd week of Beko Basketball League at BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex

Thanks to Jerry’s early baskets, visiting Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi, jumped 8-3 in front during the first 5 minute of the game. In spite of toughened defense by Beşiktaş Cola Turka, visitors kept finding baskets with Ümit under the rim and took a 15-13 slim lead at the end of first period.
A much more effective performance by our team who started to take advantage of visiting team’s turnovers provided a 27-15 advantage in the 14th minute. Visiting Mersin tried to counter the productive attacks of the home side with Ümit but Cevher’s additional baskets kept Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team 35-30 in the front at the end of the first half.  
At the start of the third period Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi managed to reduce the deficit to 2 points again (35-33) with Ümit's points in the 23rd minute but Cevher did not let the visitors come any closer and Black & Whites went to the final period with 10 points advantage (51-41).
Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team did not give away point during the first 7 minutes of the final quarter and at one point increased the point gap to 25 points in its favor. At the end of the game the scoreboard showed a 66-49 victory for Our Black and Whites.
