Our Football Team grabbed a valuable 2-1 derby victory over traditional rival Galatasaray in the 23rd week of Turkcell Super League. Our goals were scored by Bobo (32nd min) and Ricardinho (84th min. penalty).

The derby took place at BJK İnönü Stadium in which Our Black & Whites fans filled the stands completely and supported their team throughout the game. Played under nearly perfect weather, the critical game was refereed by Fırat Aydınus and visiting Galatasaray had the first kick-off.
During the early minutes both teams tried to gain the control of midfield, while Beşiktaş applied suffocating pressure on opposing team’s defense with Bobo. As a result, he sent one of Ricordinho's left wing crosses right into the left corner of visitor’s net with a perfect header that put Black & Whites 1-0 in front in the 32nd minute. Following attacks especially from the left wing created a lot of valuable scoring chances but Bobo was unable and unlucky to convert them into goals that would have extended Beşiktaş’s lead even more. The first half was completed with 1-0 superiority of Black & Whites.       .
While both teams started the second half without making any substitution, Black & Whites continued to exert their high tempo into the game that gave them a total control of the game but Emre leveled the score with a header from a corner kick in the 63rd minute (1-1). Beşiktaş made its only substitution of the game and brought Burak Yılmaz into the game for Delgado in the 68th minute. The ensuing pressure by Black & Whites finally paid its dividend when Mehmet from the visiting yellow & red team handled the ball inside the penalty area during a corner kick and Beşiktaş was awarded with a penalty shot. Ricardinho did not waste this golden opportunity and made the score 2-1 for the home side 6 minutes from time. Black & Whites managed to hold on to their lead until the final whistle.
