Beşiktaş Men’s Volleyball Team lost 3-1 to visiting Galatasaray in the 6th week of the Classifying Group at game played in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex.  

The visiting side had an effective start into the game. Entering into the technical time outs leading 8-5 and 16-13, yellow and reds won the first set 25-20 and took 1-0 lead in the game.
In the second set Black&Whites displayed a better performance and stayed 8-4 in front going into the first technical time out. The productive play of Faik and Engin kept Beşiktaş in the lead at the end of second time out as well (16-14). In spite of a well contested finish during which Black&Whites had some difficulty in posting points, Beşiktaş was able to edge its opponent 25-22 at the end and tied the sets (1-1). 
However, in the third set thanks to Dordevic’s impressive performance, visitors took the leads at the end of both time outs, (8-4) and (16-13) respectively. The effective blocks of Galatasaray prevented Black&Whites from scoring and enabled the yellow and reds to win this critical set 25-19 which turned the game 2-1 in favor of the visiting team.
The fourth set staged a real and exciting fight between the two traditional İstanbul rivals. Galatasaray led going into both technical time outs with the scores of 8-7 and 16-15. The last minute effort by Black&Whites could not resist the efficient services of visiting team who took the set 25-22 and won the derby 3-1.
