After Denizlispor victory, our Technical Director Jean Tigana, Managing Director Ali Gültiken and Head of Football Branch Celalettin Kolot made these comments regarding the game.

Celallettin Kolot: “Our Beşiktaş is on the right track. I am happy with the win but 2-0 score was not sufficient enough because Denizlispor is not a strong side. We should have scored more goals. The 5 points difference with the leader is nothing. Besides we will play with Fenerbahçe at our home ground İnönü Stadium. Our next 5 games are very important. If we don’t lose any point in these games, I strongly believe that we will finish first at the end of the season.”
Jean Tigana: “We were not effective in the early part of the game but we quickly regrouped and took control of the game. It was a logical game on our part. We will rest for few days and then we will start getting ready for our next game. At present we are only 5 points behind league leading Fenerbahçe. League has certainly become interesting for all. Every other game we are registering improvement. We wish to continue this performance until end without sustaining any injury.”
Ali Gültiken: “We want to win our upcoming games and become champion at the end of the season. We have not given up from this goal since the start of the league. We have become an efficient and effective team. We are not giving away any scoring position to other teams. This shows that we are stronger defensively. We are also creating a lot of scoring chances up front. The unsuccessful results of our opponents are motivating us. Now Fenerbahçe has certainly to be more careful. We have young and good team. If we keep up at this level, there is no reason why we shouldn’t get the championship at the end.”
Serdar Kurtuluş: “I came to Beşiktaş because of Tigana. I knew that he always preferred young players. I have attained a good rhythm right now at the front sweeper position. I am trying to carry on my assignment in the most efficient way. We all believe in finishing first. We have quality team and I hope we reach  our target with this team at the end of the league.”
İbrahim Toroman: Tonight we played well as a team and everybody tried to display his best. We always try to do whatever our coach says. It was nice to win. We thank to our fans for their continuous support throughout the game. We want to play positive football until the end of the season and win the championship.”
Delgado: “We played well and won the game and that’s the most important of all.”
Bobo: “During the half-time break, our coach wanted me to make cross-runs because Denizlispor kept its defense on a straight line. This idea helped me to score. Our present system is perfect; two strikers supported by two mid fielders. We wish to carry on like this in our future games as well.”
