Ali Gültiken: We also played well in our past cup game. In spite of empty stands, we were really motivated and had a good tempo throughout the game. Today we again displayed strong desire to win and as an outcome created many scoring chances. We could have scored even more goals. We are steadily improving in terms of team organization. Nobre played very well tonight. Bobo was also effective, but this time the goals were scored by Nobre. We are really happy for Nobre.

İbrahim Üzülmez: It was not easy because Vestel Manisaspor is a fighter team. As I said before the game, it turned out to be a difficult game but we had to win to remain close to our rivals in the standings. We struggled in the first 10 minutes of the second half but still won the game at the end. The fans were perfect as always and we are truly glad that we made them happy with this win. Nobre is a good player. We were upset and stressed when he was not scoring. But today he made a hat trick, I am happy for him. I hope he keeps scoring in next games as well. He is a valuable player for us.

Bobo: It was an important game for us. It was nice to contribute to goals. More importantly, Beşiktaş won. In the first goal position, I never thought of going down. I always tried to stay on my feet during my whole carrier. That’s what happened and we scored a nice goal.

Gökhan Zan: During the winter break period we trained really hard. Ankaragücü cup game was our first test. In spite of playing in front of empty stands, we were organized and we performed well. As I often say, if we play as hard as our opponent we will win every game.
