Our technical Director Jean Tigana and Managing Director of our Football Team Ali Gültiken made these statements after the 2-1 victory over Ankaragücü:

Jean Tigana: ‘‘We played a very difficult game tonight. We had serious scoring changes but fell behind with an unexpected goal at an unexpected time. However we remained organized and overcame this situation. We had to win today and I am glad that we accomplished this without any damages. Now, we have a difficult Vestel game coming up. We will immediately start getting ready for this game.’’
Ali Gültiken: "Entering into the game three teams had a chance for going into the quarter final. It was head to head struggle until the end. I believe we played well tonight and found many serious scoring opportunities. Tonight's game’s scoring chances were probably the most we ever received in a game this season but we could only score 2 goals. Nevertheless, our tempo of the game was satisfying. It is also nice to attain a place in the quarter finals with a win. I also wish that this will be our last game without our fans."
