Beşiktaş Handball Team recorded a 35-30 victory over visiting İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi at its last game of the first half of the season played in BJK Süleyman Seba Sports Saloon.  

Black&Whites tried to put pressure on the visiting side in the early minutes but were unlucky in overcoming the goal posts. Hitting the posts during  their attacks, they came empty handed from their scoring attempts and scored only one goal in the first 7 minutes of the game. On the other hand, İzmir representative scored 3 goals during these minutes and with the help of Emin Hallaç’s goals started to open up the score difference in its favor. However Beşiktaş got organized and was able to tie the game thanks to its effective performance at the end of the first half (16-16).
Beşiktaş started the second half with consecutive goals. Despite of the tough defensive effort of the visiting team Black&Whites found two critical goals and continued to play well as they did at the end of the first half. Although at one point of time Beşiktaş slowed the game down a little, its overall brilliant effort of the second half was enough to provide a 35-30 victory over İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi.
