Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team defeated visiting Tekel with a convincing score of 80-64 in the 10th week of Beko Basketball league game played in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex. 

Entering into the game with a first five made of Cevher Özer, Reese, Ostojic, Erkan Veyseloğlu ve Erdal Bibo, Our Black & Whites displayed a much superior performance after the early minutes of the game which saw an exchange baskets by both teams. However after awhile Beşiktaş started off losing its superiority and had difficulty to stop the visiting side’s baskets. Nevertheless, despite of simple defensive errors, thanks to baskets by Ostojiç under the rim and accurate outside shots of Barış Güney, Beşiktaş Cola Turka kept the lead at hand and wrapped up the first 10 minutes 20-17 in front.
Making a fast start into the second period, Our Black&Whites opened up a 10 point difference against Tekel in the 12th minute of the game through baskets scored by Reese and Cevher. (27-17). Beşiktaş Cola Turka was quite effective offensively and forcing its opponent to outside shots gave up only 9 points during the first 7 minutes of the period. Visiting black&yellows tried to reduce the point deficit with Knight’s baskets but had difficulty overcoming our defense in general. Black&Whites went to the locker room leading 44-33 at the end of first half.
In the early part of the third period Tekel virtually dominated the game. During the first 5 minutes, visiting side took control of the game and started to reduce the point gap. Besides Knight, Tekel’s Gökhan also put pressure on our defense and visiting team began to have high hopes for the game thanks to its consecutive baskets. However, Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team got reorganized and ended its opponent’s hopes in a short time. During the final minutes Black&Whites regained the superiority in the game and completed the period with a commanding lead (57-44).
In the final period of the game, relying on its point advantage, Our Men's Basketball Team displayed a more confidant performance and continued to be impressive with Emre Veyseloğlu and Ostojiç duet. Tekel made an attempt to reduce the deficit but was unable to produce the necessary points and Black&Whites won the game with a score of (80-64).
