Our Handball Team registered a 46-23 win over Trabzon Belediyespor in its 8th game of the league played at Süleyman Seba Sports Arena.

Thanks to an early run of consecutive goals, Beşiktaş looked impressive and did not give up any goal during the first 5 minutes of the game. However eventually Black&Whites lost its effective defensive play and visiting Trabzon Belediyespor began to reduce the 5 point deficit. After taking advantage of the scoring opportunities from corners, Black Sea representative closed the point gap to 1 goal between two teams in the 16th minute (9-8).Nevertheless, from this point onward, Beşiktaş regained its composure and started to open up the gap once again thanks to the brilliant performances of Murat Güder and Utku Ergüder. With the help of balls thrown behind the opposing side’s defense Black&Whites did not have difficulty to find scoring chances and wrapped up the first period 19-14 in the lead.
Beşiktaş began the second half with Ramazan and scored a lot of easy goals. In the 38th minute the score was 27-17 in favor of Beşiktaş. Minimizing its defensive errors our team successfully stopped the scoring attempts of its opponent. Our handball team organized fast offensive attacks that resulted in goals scored by the duet of Cengiz Hatırnaz and Ramazan Döne. Consequently, after the 40th minute Black &Whites completely demolished its opponent. After scoring nearly in all of its attacks, Beşiktaş brought its young players into the game. While the point gap increased to 20 points in the 50th minute of the game the effective performance of our young players such as Ozan Arifoğlu, Ozan Koçyiğit and Gökhan Uzelli was appreciated by the fans. Following a break due to the games of our national team, our Handball Team got together with its fans once again and defeated Trabzon Belediyespor with a commanding score of 46-23.
