Beşiktaş Cola Turka:104 Olympia Bucharest:56

Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Team wrapped up a 104-56 triumph over Romanian representative Olympia Bucharest in its 4th game of FIBA European Cup and remained undefeated at the top of Group B. 

Starting the game played in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex with a first five lineup consisting Şebnem Kimyacıoğlu, Esmeral Tunçluer, Lovelace, Sariye Gökçe and Yasemin Horasan, our Black & Whites took the early lead with the three pointer of Şebnem Kimyacıoğlu. Beşiktaş Cola Turka had no trouble finding chances to score and completed the first 5 minutes staying in front 10-4. Thanks to an aggressive defensive performance by our Ladies the Romanian visitors had difficulty to score points. The impressive play of Black & Whites continued throughout the period and the first period ended with 25-10 superiority of Beşiktaş Cola Turka.   
Entering into the second period with a more effective offensive punch, Black & Whites outscored its opponent through high percentage outside shots. With the addition of Esra Erden into the game, Beşiktaş suddenly opened up a 20 point gap and in the 14th minute was leading 34-14. Having a 15-4 rally at start of the 15th  minute, Beşiktaş Cola Turka widened the score difference between the two sides even further  and went to the locker room with a commanding lead of 51-25 at the end of the first half.
Relying on its point advantage, Beşiktaş Cola Turka lowered its pressure on the visiting side in the third period and found easy baskets under the Olympia’s baskets. Not wasting its fast break chances, consecutive three point baskets of Şebnem and Esra completely paralyzed the Romanian Team. Taking advantage of the defensive errors made by the weak opposing side which was unable to show any viable resistance, our Ladies eventually increased the scoring gap to 42 points at the end of the third period and completed the third period 78-36 leading the match.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka, started the last part of the game with an intention of going over the 100 points barrier. Black & Whites took their score advantage to 50 points with a score of 92-42 in the 34th minute of the game. The all around superior performance of Beşiktaş Cola Turka from the start, gave Beşiktaş Cola Turka a commanding final score of 104-56 over the visiting Romanian team at the end of the game. With this victory our Black & whites won their 4th game in a row and maintained its leadership of group B.
