After the derby match against Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş players Gökhan Zan, Mert Nobre and Burak Yılmaz made following statements:

Gökhan Zan: It was a hard fought game. Both sides displayed good fighting spirit on the pitch. Both teams were aggressive throughout the game. Fenerbahçe was 6 points ahead of us before the game. We needed points more than they did. We pulled our motivation to the highest level this week. We made a good entry into the game and had a good scoring chance but unfortunately couldn't score. We have to take advantage of these types of opportunities. I congratulate my friends from Fenerbahçe for their honest effort.
Mert Nobre: I would like to thank to my team mates for choosing me captain for this game. I tried to be positive on the pitch to the best of my ability.
Burak Yılmaz: Today we had exciting game with high tempo. Both teams performed quite well. Both sides could win the game but I think we had better of the game.
