Fenerbahçe:0-Beşiktaş:0

Beşiktaş Football Team played into a 0-0 tie with Fenerbahçe in an away derby game in the 14th week of the Turkcell Super League.

Played under perfect weather and pitch conditions of FB Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium the game was refereed by Vedat Yüksel. Mert Nobre was chosen as the captain of our Black & Whites.
The important Istanbul derby started with a balanced and controlled play by both sides. Stopping the early attacks of Fenerbahçe with an effective defensive performance Beşiktaş searched for the scoring opportunity especially from long range shots. Despite of attacking attempts from both wings our Black & Whites forwards had difficulty in overcoming Fenerbahçe defense. Performing well and displaying positive football in the first 45 minutes, Beşiktaş was unable to change the score and went to the locker room with a 0-0 tie at the end of the first half.
Beşiktaş successfully shook off the early second half attacks of Fenerbahçe. Our keeper Veddran Runje's critical saves was appreciated by all. Technical Director Jean Tigana made the only substitution of the game and replaced Delgado with Ricardinho at the 71st  minute. He had a golden scoring opportunity in front of Fenerbahçe goal at 84th minute of the play but his powerful shot was saved by Fenerbahçe’s keeper Volkan. The remaining period of the game carried very thrilling moments for both sides but since neither side’s attempts produced any goal the game ended in a scoreless tie 0-0.
