Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team posted a 74-73 victory over FMP Zeleznik at ULEB Cup Group B game played at Akatlar.

Beşiktaş Cola Turka, making a good start into the game, reached a 4 point gap against its opponent for a moment, but the first period was wrapped up with FMP Zeleznik being in the lead (14-19) since Beşiktaş could not maintain its lead.
Making a good start into the second period, the guest team took the lead (14-25) at 12th minute. Black & White team, responding to the opponent’s points with Aubrey Reese and Jamel Thomas, increased its pressure in offense and went to the locker room 39-27 leading.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka began the third period with a three-pointer by Cevher Özer and did not show mercy for the guests’ mistakes. Even though the Serb team balanced the game at 24th minute, our Black & White players entered the last period 56-53 in the lead thanks to the outer shots.
Black & White team continued scoring in the last quarter thanks to Erkan Veyseloğlu and Aubrey Reese, and was able to slow down its opponent by the affective defense performance. Beşiktaş Cola Turka, utilizing the opportunities that it had, got 8 points lead over its rival at 36th minute (70-62). Black & White players lost their defense resistance after this moment and the guest team leveled the game thanks to the points they scored in a row. FMP Zeleznik leveled the score also (73-73) with 12 seconds remaining. Beşiktaş Cola Turka won the tough game with 1 point lead (74-73) thanks to the point scored by Aubrey Reese at foul shot.
