Beşiktaş Football Team lost against English Tottenham Hotspur in the first game of UEFA Cup Group B (2-0).

First few minutes of the game was played at the midfield. Tottenham, which seemed to be more organized at the midfield, took the lead at 31st minute thanks to Hossam Ghaly’s goal (1-0). First half ended with this score.
Tottenham withdrew to its side of the field and performed hard defense in the second half. Beşiktaş took control of the game but could not score in its attacks; whereas, Berbatov scored a goal at 63rd minute and put the guest team 2-0 ahead. Tottenham Hotspur took the leadership after Club Brugge – Bayer Leverkusen game ended 1-1. 
Beşiktaş fans provided terrific support for their team until the end of the game.
