The group draw for UEFA Cup was held at Nyon city of Switzerland. Beşiktaş paired with Bayer Leverkusen (Germany), Club Brugge (Belgium), Dinamo Bucharest (Romania) and Tottenham Hotspurs (England) in the B group.

The first there teams from each Group will be a part of the 24 teams at next stage of the tournament. The 8 teams coming from the Champions League as the third place finisher will join this group of 24 teams and the elimination round of 32 teams will start. The elimination process will continue until two remaining teams meet at the final to be played in Glasgow city of Scotland on May 16, 2007.
