Our Men's Basketball Team lost to Fenerbahçe Ülker (88-63) at third game of Tadım Turkish Cup A Group. However, since it finished second in the group, our side became one of the 8 finalists of the next stage. 

After being penalized at the Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi game, our coach Murat Didin had to sit in the stands and the team was directed by the assistance coach Engin Gençoğlu. Our Aubrey Reese, Barış Özcan, Arda Vekiloğlu, Jamel Thomas and Djuro Ostojic first five immediately went ahead (6-0) during the first 3 minutes. After balancing the game, Fenerbahçe Ülker got extra points from outside shots and with Kambala’s free throws closed the first period in front ( 20-18). 
Beşiktaş started the period with Cevher Özer’s three pointer and responded to Fenerbahçe Ülker’s points by Barış Özcan's three point shot at the 14th minute of the game (25-27) . At this point on Beşiktaş made an effort to take control of the game with the fast breaks of Aubrey Reese and Brooks Sales and opened up a 4 point advantage. However Fenerbahçe fought back and took advantage of Beşiktaş’s defensive lapses and our side was down (43-36) to Ülker at the half.
At the third period, Fenerbahçe started up as the better side. Jamel Thomas's three point shot cut the difference to (48-41) which previously to 10 points at 24 the minute of the game. However, Fenerbahçe continued to take advantage of our poor defensive performance and opened up a 19 point difference at the end of the third period (63-44).     
Beşiktaş put up a brave fight at beginning of the fourth period and reduced the difference to 14 points with Aubrey Reese’s points but the double technical faults called on Barış Özcan  demoralized our and they lost (88-63) to Ülker Fenerbahçe.
Despite this unlucky loss, since Beşiktaş won its other games against  Mersin B.Bld and TOFAŞ,it finished second in the group and gained the right to play in the 8 team final of the Tadım Turkish Cup.
