Our Beşiktaş Football Team raised its total points to 12 by beating Ankaragücü (2-1) in the BJK İnönü Stadium on the 7th week of Turkcell Super League with the goals of Burak Yılmaz (12th min) and Gökhan Güleç (17th min.). 

Refereed by Bülent Demirlek the game was played at BJK İnönü Stadium in front of another packed house of fans who would never leave their team alone. They supported their team players until the last minute of the game with great enthusiasm.
At start of the game Beşiktaş was the attacking side. Koray Avcı had to leave the game after dislocating his shoulder in tackle with Agali at 6th minute. He was replaced by Ali Tandoğan.  At 12 minute of the first half, Burak Yılmaz headed in the Kleberson’s free-kick from the right side and put Beşiktaş in front (1-0). Five minutes after this goal, Nobre directed a great cross from Ali Tandoğan to Gökhan Güleç who sent it home with a brialliant header (2-0).
The first half ended with this score.
The second half started with both teams attacking. Ankaragücü pulled on goal back with a goal from Ceyhun at 64th minute. Technical Manager Jean Tigana sent in Ricardinho (66th min) for Gökhan Güleç and Serdar Kurtuluş replaced Mehmet Sedef (78th min).When Ankaragücü defense player Petkov handled the ball in his 18 yard line, Beşiktaş was awarded with a penalty shot 8 minutes to time. However, Ankaragücü keeper Serkan saved Nobre’s penalty kick and the score stayed the same.
Both sides were unable to change the score during the remaining minutes and the match ended with (2-1) in favor of Beşiktaş.
