Our football team lost (1-0) to Galatasaray at Ali Sami Yen Stadium in the 6th week of Turkcell Super League.

Our Beşiktaş was the starting side of the derby match refereed by Cüneyt Çakır at Ali Sami Yen Stadium. The early minutes of the match was played in mid-field and our Black&White Club tried to be effective with Nobre in front of opponent’s goal. At 31st minute when Hakan Şükür was brought down, the referee showed the penalty spot and the striker Ümit Karan scored. After the goal, our Team forced its chances for an equalizer and applied pressure on Galatasaray defense, unfortunately could not found the net and the first half ended (1-0) in favor of opposition.
Kleberson’s header returned from the goal post at 64th min. and Gökhan Güleç replaced Nobre at 67 and Delgado was substituted for Mehmet Sedef. İbrahim Akın also replaced Burak as an offensive move  but no goals were scored in the remaining minutes of the game and our Team left the field by being defeated by one goal.
