Technical Director of Beşiktaş, Jean Tigana and young players Burak Yılmaz and Gökhan Zan made these evaluations regarding the Konyaspor game:

Jean Tigana: "We were against a very good team .They were well organized It got more difficult for us when İbrahim was sent off. However, we responded fairly well to the energy shown against us. At the end we won this game with a fine struggle. However we started receiving too many cards. I think we have to focus on the game only .We have to stay calm and control our nerves on the field. This is how the top level of football is played today. Our fans motivate us in an unbelievable manner. In this way, they want to show their trust in the team."
Burak Yılmaz: "I was playing forward at Antalyaspor. My coach of Under-21 National Team was also giving me assignment at the forward position. However, here at Beşiktaş I am trying to do my best on the field regardless of any specific position. I think today, by getting a well deserved win on the field, we showed a good game to our fans.
Gökhan Zan: "We knew that it was going to be a hard game for us. Konyaspor is a very good team. However, we have to take advantage of our home games in front of our own fans. The team is gradually getting used to each other. We have to be more calm and patient on the playing field. In the second half everything was equalized. We produced more scoring chances. I am quite happy that I scored. The important thing is not only to achieve the success but carry on it."
