Beşiktaş Football Club beat Konyaspor 3-1 with the goals of Burak Yılmaz (2.and 67. min.) and Gökhan Zan (60.min.). The referee Zafer Önder İpek sent off İbrahim Toraman from Beşiktaş (20.min) and Ömer (45+4 min.) and Tayfun (80.min) from Konyaspor with red cards. Ricardinho played his first official game under the Beşiktaş uniform.

Turning the BJK İnönü Stadium into a virtual carnival place, the fans filled the stands completely and supported their players against Konyaspor with a great deal of cheering throughout the game. Starting the game very fast, Beşiktaş went ahead at as early as the second minute with Burak Yılmaz’s goal. Konyaspor equalized from Yordanov’s free-kick (1-1).At the 20.minute of the game İbrahim Toraman was shown red card by the referee Zafer Önder İpek after entering a two way struggle with Yordanov.
The extra time of the first half was quite lively. At the 45+3.minute when the Konyaspor defence handled the ball in their 18.yard line after Bobo’s corner kick, the referee showed the penalty spot. Before the penalty shot, Ömer from Konyaspor agitated the fans with his hand gestures and consequently was sent off the field due to the warning of linesman. The Delgado’s penalty shot was saved by the goal-keeper Özden and the first half ended (1-1).
The first minutes of the second half were played as a mid-field struggle. However at the 60.minute Gökhan Zan took advantage of the mistake of Konyaspor defence and directed the ball into their opponent’s net and Beşiktaş went ahead (2-1).At the 67.minute Burak Yılmaz took the center stage once again. He followed a great pass from Delgado, went behind the Konyaspor defence and facing the goal-keeper took a perfect shot which brought the score to (3-1) in favor of Beşiktaş.
Beşiktaş’s world famous new transfer Ricardinho replaced Gökhan Zan at the 72. minute of the match. When he entered the game the chanting of ‘Ricardinho-Ricardinho’ did not stop for a long time. Following the yellow card of 58.minute when Tayfun received a second yellow card at the 80.minute, he was sent off and Konyaspor had to play with 9 men on the field.  Beşiktaş searched for the fourth goal until the end of the game but could not take advantage of the scoring chances. The match ended with (3-1) superiority of Beşiktaş.
