Our star transfer Ricardinho from Brazil signed the contract for 3 years including 1 year option in a signature ceremony held at BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities and attended by our Deputy Chairman Murat Aksu and Member of the Board Erhan Kamışlı.

Speaking at the ceremony,  our Deputy Chairman Murat Aksu said that they were proud to make a player like Ricardinho play for Turkish Football and Beşiktaş, and added “Ricardinho, who played at two world cups and is one of the important players of the Brazilian National team is now a Beşiktaş player. He won various cups for 12 times. He said that he wanted to increase that number to 15 here. It is up to our fans now. We have reached 15 thousand combined ticket sales. As the Board of Directors, our objective is to sell 20 thousand combined tickets. We transferred very important players and formed a great team. We aim high.” 
On the other hand, the Board Member Erhan Kamışlı who was present at the ceremony said “Let Ricardo be good for Turkey and Beşiktaş. We have added to our team one of the few great players in the world. Great things are business of great teams. I believe that Ricardinho will do an excellent job at Beşiktaş. We have sold so far 50% of the seating capacity of the stadium. As the Board of Directors, if we can sell 20 thousand combined tickets that we had intended to do, we will have sold 70% of the seating capacity and thus have realized another first in Turkey. This is going to be a first for our country. As we have always said, Beşiktaş is a club that achieves great things before anyone else.”
On the other hand, Ricardinho posing to press in his jersey numbered 17 said that he has been amazed at the level of interest people have shown him since the first moment he set foot on İstanbul and he still could not get over that amazement. Our Brazilian star said “I am very happy to be here. A magnificent welcome ceremony was organized for me. I will repay the interest that is shown to me through the football I will play on the field. I have won 12 cups during my career and now want to increase this to 15 here”. When a reporter asked him why he had preferred to come to Beşiktaş even though many known clubs in Europe had wanted him, Ricardinho replied “I did extensive research before coming to Beşiktaş. It is an excellent team. It plays at great leagues. It will play at UEFA this year. Beşiktaş has great objective just as I do.”
