New transfer Matias Emilio Delgado has signed a 3 year contract in the ceremony attended by Vice President Murat Aksu, General Secretary Kenan Öner and Ülker Group Communications Coordinator Ali Doğan.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, Vice President Murat Aksu said it’s the day that they have concluded a first event in Turkish history and continued: “A football team purchased a player under the support of the sponsor". Saying that it was a big day for Beşiktaş, Vice President Murat Aksu said “We have concluded a long-anticipated transfer. It is a first thing in the Turkish football history more as well as a long-anticipated transfer for our supporters. A football team brought a player in under the sponsorship. For that reason, I thank Ülker and Coca Turka a lot."
Adding into his words that Delgado was an important player, Aksu said “No need to argue further about Delgado. Press is publishing news for more than a month. He was a footballer who scored most during UEFA Cup. And he was in the transfer list of 5-6 football clubs. We are proud of bringing him into our team. He is not born a Beşiktaş supporter as other transfers were. But yesterday, he saw the supporters at the airport and said "My heart is beating for the love of Beşiktaş. I will do a good job with this love and support.". We made a good transfer."
       
Ülker Group Communications Coordinator and President of Ülker Sports Club, Ali Doğan said this year was a revolution for the Turkish sport history and added that they waited successful results from Beşiktaş.
Noting that from the very first of transfer meetings, the attitude of Beşiktaş club influenced him very much; Delgado said that he was happy for coming to Beşiktaş. “In my first visit, I was impressed. I guessed not seeing supporters waiting for me at the Airport. I thank everyone who exerted efforts. I know that I came into a great club.  And I thank the technical director Jean Tigana very much. Insistently, he really wanted to bring me here. This is the major reason for me coming here. By working hard, I want to give the best of me. We want to advance in UEFA Cup. And we believe that we will also be the champion in Turkey.”
Press members showed high interest for the signing ceremony of Delegado. Playing an important role in the transfer of Argentinean footballer, Ali Doğan from Ülker Group drank Cola Turca with Delgado and Murat Aksu after the signing.  Argentinean player posed for the press in his jersey no. 10 in the field afterwards.
