Beşiktaş Football Team has started its preparations for 2006-2007 season.

New transfers Fahri Tatan, Baki Mercimek, Vedran Runje and Serdar Kurtuluş have met the team for the first time. Attended also by the hired players in the last season, Technical Director Jean Tigana invited 7 players from the PAF Team into the training. Besides İbrahim Toroman, İbrahim Akın, Gökhan Zan and Burak Yılmaz who went on leave late as they were in the camp of National Football Team, players on leave, Koray Avcı, Kleberson and Marcio Nobre did not attend the training. These seven players will get their place in the team on the following days.
Starting its preparations with an easy training, Beşiktaş will continue its preparations with double training a day. The team then will camp in Paris between July 2nd and 9th.
