Transferred from Antalyaspor, Burak Yılmaz signed the contract that committed him to the Black & White team for 3 years during the signing ceremony under the participation of the Vice President Murat Aksu and President of the Investments Committee, İlhan Durusoy.
During the signing ceremony, Vice President Murat Aksu said that Burak Yılmaz was one of the players that the Technical Director Jean Tigana wanted to have and added “Burak is 21 years old and he can contribute much to the Turkish National Football Team. Upon the request of our Technical Director Jean Tigana, we are forming up a young and dynamic team this year. I hope Burak will be permanent and successful in the team. Burak is a fan of Beşiktaş more than any of us. Because his father used to be the former third goal keeper of our Team".
Stating that he was very happy for joining in such a great community like Beşiktaş, he said “I am very excited right now. I would like to thank our President Yıldırım Demirören and Technical Director Jean Tigana, who exerted great efforts for my transfer to the team”.
