Beşiktaş Cola Turka: 57 Efes Pilsen: 55

Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team, hosting Efes Pilsen at BJK Akatlar Sports & Culture Complex in the third game of the semi final series, posted a 57-55 victory over its rival and leveled the score in the series (2-2).

Beşiktaş Cola Turka made a fast start to the game but Efes Pilsen scored points through outer shots. Efes scored 9 points out of 11 points through 3-pointers until 5th minute; whereas Black & White team scored points under the rim. Smith put Efes 18-10 in the lead at 8th minute thanks to his effective performance. Our Black & White players scored points in the last minute, cut the gap to 4 points but Efes Pilsen finished the first quarter 18-14 leading.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka began the second quarter with a basket scored by Kimani Ffriend but could not stop the outer shots by its rival. Black & White team had an unfortunate moment with 4 minutes to play in the first half. Kerem Tunçeri fell down in the one-on-one fight against Kaya Peker, got injured and had to leave the game on a stretcher. Both teams fought hard in the second period but Beşiktaş Cola Turka trimmed the gap down to 2 points again with 2 minutes remaining in the second period thanks to the 3-pointer by Barış Özcan (28-26). However, Black & White team returned empty handed from its last minute attacks and Efes Pilsen went to the locker room 28-26 leading.
Black & White team kicked off the second half with a basket scored by Kimani Ffriend again and balanced the game. Efes Pilsen regained its lead after 25th minute thanks to Kerem Gönlüm scoring points under the rim. Efes increased the margin to 5 points after the 3-pointer scored by Ender, whereas Black & White players were losing the ball at some critic moments and wrapped up the 3rd period 39-36 tracking. Beşiktaş Cola Turka, making a fast start to the last quarter, cut the gap to 1 point thanks to the baskets scored by Barış Özcan (41-40). In the last 7th minute of the game, Mithat Demirel scored a 3-pointer and put Black & White team in the lead (44-43). Black & White players, displaying superb defense in the last quarter, scored points in a row and increased the gap against Efes Pilsen to 7 points (55-50) and entered the last minute of the game with that lead. 
Beşiktaş Cola Turka jeopardized the game in the stressful last minute but grabbed a 57-55 triumph thanks to Kimani Ffriend’s excellent performance and leveled the score in the series (2-2).
