European Wheel Chair Basketball Champion Clubs Cup was held in İstanbul on May 5-7. German team RVS LAHN DILL posted a 75-43 victory over GSD ANMIC SASSARI in the final game and became the champion.

AWARD CEREMONY
The Award Ceremony took place at BJK Akatlar Sports & Culture Complex after the final game. Following attended the ceremony: Mehmet Ali Şahin (Minister of State and Deputy Prime Minister), Yıldırım Demirören (Chairman of the Beşiktaş Club), Murat Aksu (Vice- Chairman of the Beşiktaş Club), Kenan Öner (General Secretary), Yahya Kemal Gençer (Chairman of the Basketball Committee), Süleyman Eren (Member of the Board of Directors), Mehmet Atalay (General Manager of Youth and Sports Directorate), and other authorities.
Minister Mehmet Ali Şahin said that he was proud of the fact that our Beşiktaş hosted such a great event in our country. 
In the colorful Ceremony, Minister Mehmet Ali Şahin, Chairman Yıldırım Demirören and President of IWBF Jan Berteling presented the award together to the Champion RVS Lahn Dill. The second runner up received its award from Mehmet Atalay (General Manager of Youth and Sports Directorate) and Murat Aksu(Vice- Chairman of the Beşiktaş Club); on the other hand, the third runner up Tabu Cantu was given its award by Kenan Önen (Beşiktaş General Secretary). 
Most scorer player was Patrick Andersen with 139 points; whereas Italian Santa Lucia was elected as the most fair play team in the Championship. Mehmet Akın from Beşiktaş was selected by IWBF as the “most promising model player”.
Addressing to the people in the ceremony, IWBF President Jan Berteling said that they had great time in İstanbul and the championship took place impeccably. Bertaling said “The players reflected the team spirit fully on the court. I congratulate them all. I thank everyone involved in organization of this event.”
