Beşiktaş Football Team lost against archrival Galatasaray at the derby game played at 33rd week of the Turkcell Super League (2-1).

The game was played at BJK İnönü Stadium. Tümer Metin, holding Fortis Turkish Cup, and other players carrying a banner “Many happy Cups together with our Fans” came on the field  45 minutes before the kick off. In the meantime, Black & White fans in the grandstand threw confetti and cheered for the players.
 
The game was played at mid-field in the first few minutes of the game. Beşiktaş tried to score goals by kicking the ball from distant points. Tümer Metin performed effective strikes but Galatasaray goal keeper Mondragon did not make any mistake. At 42nd minute, Sasa İliç from Galatasaray fell on the ground when he had one on one fight with Cordoba in the penalty zone, and the referee Fırat Aydınus whistled for penalty kick. Necati performed the penalty kick but the ball hit the goal post and the score did not change. 
Beşiktaş made a fast start to the second half of the game. At 52nd minute, Tümer Metin grabbed the ball at the left wing and came to the penalty zone. Facing the goal keeper Mondragon, Tümer stroke the ball perfectly, rolled it home and put Beşiktaş 1-0 ahead. Hasan Kabze fired a hard strike from outside the penalty zone and Galatasaray leveled the score at 64th minute. While Beşiktaş was unable to take advantage of the last minute opportunities, Hasan Kabze score his and Galatasaray’s second goal in the extended time and Galatasaray took the lead (2-1). The game ended with this score.
