Our Chairman addressed to our Community in the foreword letter in May 2006 issue of Beşiktaş Magazine as follows:

Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
Being the one and only sports club that has the honor of carrying the moon-star on its emblem, our Beşiktaş has on the one hand live the rightful pride of that privilege, and fulfills it responsibilities towards our country fully on the other.
Our Club gives the opportunity to play sports thanks to 13 different branches operating within the organization, and has become the source of honor for both our Community and Turkish youth due to the success achieved in these sports in the last two years.
Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club, having reached the honor of being the first club among the top three big teams and establishing Chess Branch most recently, became the undefeated champion in this branch thanks to the significant efforts made in a short period of time even though Beşiktaş began fighting last year.
I hereby extend my appreciation to the Branch Manager Süleyman Eren and notably our players that became instrumental in making us enjoy the history making victory in the branch and continued our traditions of realizing firsts, notably our players and all third parties who worked hard.
Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club, assuming the mission for leading Turkish sports for 103 years and displaying model standing in sportive area thanks to its much respected principles and philosophy, does not fail to take into consideration its social responsibility and became the first team to establish the Handicapped Branch.
Our Club enjoyed a new historical pride by grabbing the Championship of the Wheel Chair League Championship last year, raised the bar and fulfilled requirements of the mission undertaken and is hosting the greatest organization in this field this year.
Our Club will host the European Wheelchair Basketball Champion Clubs Finals on 5-6-7 of May, realize a magnificent event on behalf of the millions of Turkish citizens that are also handicapped, and experience the honor of obtaining a priceless opportunity with respect to promotion of Turkey.  
As the host of this great international tournament, we will show Turkish hospitality to the World once more and become the voice of the handicapped people.
Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams and Women Volleyball Team continue with their fights in days of great happiness’s such as these.  I kindly ask you to take your seats in the grandstand for supporting our teams that run towards to new triumphs and never leave our players alone that work very hard so that our Community can experience history making joys.
