Beşiktaş Cola Turka:91 Erdemir:83

Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team hosted Erdemir in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex, and outscored its rival by 8 points en route to a 91-83 home victory at 28th week of the Turkish Basketball League.

Both teams scored points in the first 2 minutes of the game. Michael Wright scored points for Beşiktaş, which got 15-6 ahead at 4th minute. The gap came down to 4 points momentarily but thanks to three pointers by Kerem and Barış, it went up to 10 points (24-14) in 7th minute. Black & White team took good advantage of the gaps that the rival had by Kerem and Tunçeri, and wrapped up the first period 35-20 in the lead.
Both teams displayed better performance in defense in the second period, and the first 5-minute period was passed with 5-6 series. As Michael Wright became more effective under the rim, Black & White team began scoring points again, and did not give any opportunity to its rival in the rebounds. While Rodney Elliot grabbed the defense rebounds, another American, Wright devastated Erdemir’s defense in offense rebounds. But, Erdemir trimmed the gap down to 9 points that was 18 points in the last 2 minutes. The first half was finished with Beşiktaş 47-38 leading.
With Stapleten and Polat Kocaoğlu scoring baskets, Erdemir made a fast paced start to the game in the second half and tried to trim the deficit down with the 9 points scored in the first four minutes. However, points by Wright, star of the game, kept Beşiktaş ahead. With the points scored by Mithat Demirel with 2 minutes remaining, Black Eagle was in the lead (68-55) in 29th minute and did not lose the ball as it had done in the beginning of the period. Black & White players finished the third quarter 71-58 leading after 24-20 series. 
Beşiktaş ruled the game in the last quarter also. Black & White team scored points in a row with Erdem Türetken and Kimani Ffriend at the rival’s rim and outscored it by 20 points at 35th minute (86-66). With 3 minutes to play, Black & White players slowed down the game and Erdemir scored series of points. Beşiktaş, leading by 11 points in the last minute, won a 91-83 triumph in the game.
