Beşiktaş Technical Director Jean Tigana made the following assessments in the press conference that he held after the game played against Sivasspor:

 “We did it again. We are losing many games at the home field. Usually we are getting back on the track in the second half. We found many goal opportunities in this game. But, we could not take advantage of that. Considering the game as a whole, I am not happy. The early goal scored by our rival punished us throughout the game. After the goal, our rhythm got ruined.  We could not open up the game sufficiently. When Sergen went forward, we had 5 forward players and 5 defense players. We should have spread on the field better.”
