Beşiktaş Football Team defeated Gaziantepspor in the first game of the Fortis Turkish Cup semi finals (3-1) and opened the door to the finals in the game played away. Tümer Metin (57th minute) and Bobo (64th and 75th minutes) rolled the balls home for Beşiktaş.

Beşiktaş had an opportunity in the first few minutes thanks to Gökhan Güleç but when it could not stop the goal scored by Veysel Cihan at 16th minute, hosting team took the lead (1-0). Gaziantepspor went to the locker room 1-0 leading since there was not any other goal scored in the rest of the first half.
Tümer Metin replaced Okan Buruk in the second half of the game. The Black & White team created some dangerous moments at its rival’s goal in the first minutes thanks to the strikes fired from distant points and put pressure on its opponent. As a result of the pressure, Tümer Metin scored a goal at 57th minute and leveled the score at 1-1. Beşiktaş, playing with a faster tempo in the second half, took control of the game. Beşiktaş got ahead (2-1) thanks to the Bobo’s beautiful goal scored at 64th minute. Bobo, the young kicker from Brazil, was under the spots once again at 75th minute and increased the gap to 2 with the headshot that he performed (1-3). Neither team scored any other goal; Beşiktaş left Gaziantep with a 3-1 victory and opened the way to finals.
