Beşiktaş Technical Director Jean Tigana made the following evaluation after the 3-1 victory against Gaziantepspor:

“First of all, we were on the track since we were good; and we played beautifully and rolled 3 balls into the rival’s goal in the second half, which is a hard thing to do at an away game, and grabbed the victory. I can say that we played really good tonight. Since we take one step at a time, now we think of the game we will play at the league.  When we can play in the game in İstanbul the way we did particularly in the second half, I believe that we will continue our journey towards the Cup.
Since Tümer was in good shape and ready to play when he entered the game, we were especially able to turn the game around. I strive to have all my players ready for the game whether they are in the first 11 playing on the field or sitting in the bench. I can say that there is nothing that we can not overcome as long as they are in this shape.”
