Beşiktaş Handball Team earned a 46-20 victory over Bilgi University Kuştepe Campus in the first round game in Turkish Cup and made the quarter finals.

Beşiktaş had been the superior side from the first minute onwards in the game that was played at BJK Süleyman Seba Sports Hall. Murat Güder and Emin Halaç duo showered Bilgi University with goals. Black & White team scored 10 goals in the rival’s goal but received only 4 goals in the first 10 minutes. Beşiktaş, playing better throughout the game, wrapped up the first half 27-7 leading.
In the second half, Black & White team kept up its tempo of the first half but slowed down the game near the end. Beşiktaş received attention with its defense baffling Bilgi University’s efforts for goal, and increased the margin thanks to Oğuzhan and Berk duo in the second 30 minute period. Beşiktaş posted a 46-20 triumph in the game and advanced to the quarter finals. Black & White team will play against Keçiören Municipality in the quarter final game.
